  • 1/3 cup dried figs chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp allspice powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp heaped smoked paprika
  • Salt to preference

Instructions

  • Start by immersing the dried cranberries and golden raisins in the apple cider vinegar. Let them soak overnight, tucked away in the cool embrace of your refrigerator.
  • In a broad skillet, combine the shredded carrots and sugar, setting a foundation for the flavors that are about to unfold.
  • Strain the soaked cranberries and raisins, reserving the vinegar. Pour this fragrant vinegar into the skillet, mingling with the carrot and sugar blend.
